Telesis develops new way to prevent theft
The NOMAD 4000 system is a fully portable, rechargeable and battery-powered plant and equipment marker...
Buderus Edelstahl is one of the biggest producers of stainless steel in the world. They were the first company in Germany to invest in a particularly important development against plant theft: the marking machine NOMAD 4000, as manufactured by Telesis.
The NOMAD 4000 system is a fully portable, rechargeable and battery-powered marker. It allows operators to work in remote places. The NOMAD 4000 offers sufficient recharge life to last an eight-hour shift.
Its manufacturer, Telesis, have had proven success in the Automotive market with their marking systems. Ford, Jaguar and Aston Martin all use Telesis in their vehicle production factories. Telesis are now making inroads into the world of plant. Manufacturers JCB and Case New Holland both use Telesis technology to mark their machines.
We anticipate that Telesis will further expand into the plant-marking world, and that this will help complement other systems designed to reduce the impact and frequency of equipment theft. This is definitely an area to watch.
